I don’t ever think I’ve seen such an interesting, intense and at times completely pathetic election campaign as the one being played out in Stoke-on-Trent Central.

In fact I’ve wondered if any of the main contenders are really trying to win it, when it looks to all intents and purposes as though they are doing their level best to lose it!

Cllr Jack Brereton Named as Conservative PPC for Stoke Central

I can confirm that Jack Brereton the city councillor for the Milton Baddeley and Norton ward has tonight been selected to be the Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate in the upcoming by-election in Stoke-on-Trent Central.

Jack is also Deputy Leader of the Stoke-on-Trent Conservative Group and is also the current cabinet member for Regeneration, Transport & Heritage.

Jack was also the youngest ever Stoke-on-Trent City Councillor when he was elected back in 2011. He is considered to be one of the rising stars of the Conservative Party.
